These are the best, fudgiest brownies - they are a comfort food in family partially because they are so easy to make😁
1/2 c butter
4 squares Baker’s Chocolate
2 eggs, room temperature
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup flour
you can add nuts or mini marshmallows if you like - we like our brownies plain.
Melt butter and chocolate together and stir until smooth. We’ve used a microwave for this but, since we haven’t had one for years, we do it on the stovetop on low heat - just stick both in a small pot and keep an eye on them. We usually take them off the heat before the chocolate is fully melted and let the residual heat do the rest. Then let the mixture cool.
Beat the eggs and sugar together. Add the cooled chocolate/butter mixture. Then add the flour.
In a greased pan (we use 8x8 square baking pan), bake at 350° for 25 minutes until the middle is set. We use a cake tester or a match stick - stick it in and if it comes out clean, you’re done.
