The Gypsy Quilt is a fast, easy project that Mary Beth made in a weekend. You will need twenty 10” squares plus an additional yard of fabric for the optional border. There is an option to purchase just the 10” squares or the squares plus the border fabric. Both options include the Villa Rosa quilt pattern.
Mary Beth used all possible fabrics from the Farm Meadow line for the twenty squares - there were three repeats. She also used Tiny Floral on Ivory for the border and Strawberries on Slate Green for the binding.
The quilt measures 36” x 45” (47” x 56” with the optional border)
We do not have the tractor fabric that Mary Beth used for the backing available but any of the other fabrics in the Farm Meadow line would make a beautiful back. You will need 1/2 yard for the binding and either 2 yards (no border included) or 4 yards (optional border included) for the backing.
Backing, binding and batting are not included in the kit.
