April’s choice is based on the cover, not so much the story. We both read the Faerie Queen for college courses (English Majors both of us) and appreciate the beauty but it’s not what we’re going to pick up over and over again. However, the cover we found is stunning and needed to be immortalized in yarn.

 Helen and I have always been voracious readers and love sharing our favorites (and not so favorites😀) with you. A Book of the Month Yarn club has long been in the making and now, it’s finally here. Each month, we will pick a pretty cover of a book that we’ve enjoyed or are looking forward to reading and dye yarn to match.

Our yarns are hand dyed or hand painted using professional acid dyes. We wash each skein carefully after dying but slight bleeding may occur during first wash. Skeins may vary in color slightly so if using more than one skein of yarn in a project, please alternate skeins every few rows.

Care of yarn - superwash merino will allow you to wash your items in the washing machine but please use cold water. For best results and care, hand washing is recommended.
