PADDINGTON AND THE QUEEN - August Favorite Books Monthly Yarn Club, Hand Dyed Superwash Merino Yarn,Toad Hollow Yarns

 Helen and I have always been voracious readers and love sharing our favorites (and not so favorites😀) with you. A Book of the Month Yarn club has long been in the making and now, it’s finally here. We have changed this club slightly to reflect books we loved reading as children. We will randomly pick from a (very long) list of books and then find illustrations of inspired art from those books.

Paddington has been a favorite of mine for more years than I want to admit. After Queen Elizabeth passed in 2022, this was one of my favorite remembrances. Eleanor Tomlinson is the illustrator who created our inspiration picture.

Our yarns are hand dyed or hand painted using professional acid dyes. We wash each skein carefully after dying but slight bleeding may occur during first wash. Skeins may vary in color slightly so if using more than one skein of yarn in a project, please alternate skeins every few rows.

Care of yarn - superwash merino will allow you to wash your items in the washing machine but please use cold water. For best results and care, hand washing is recommended.
